Election of the new minister

The Assembly of the Lutheran Parish in Cinkota elected Rev. István Vető at Alsóság to be their new minister on 12th July, 2009 . He is going to start his new job on the 1st September.

Farewell of János Blatniczky

The present minister of the congregation, János Blatniczky, after more than a decade of faithful service, says good bye to the believers on 30th August, 2009  at 10:30 am in the Cinkota Lutheran Church. Bishop Péter Gáncs will take part in the ceremony. Being involvedin the liturgy he will greet the departing minister. Atfer the service the congregation invites the guests for a reception.

Installation

István Vető will be installed to his office by Senior Gábor Győri, on Saturday, 5th September, 2009 at 3:00 pm. All the members of our congregation, all acquaintances, friends and interested sisters and brothers are warmly welcome.

New Academic Year

Rev. István Vető will open the new academic year - following the traditions of the congregation - with a eucharist service.

For next Sunday he plans to lead an opening service for Lutheran teachers, parents, relatives and students. Hopefully they will also actively be involved in the liturgy.

As far as the religious education, Bible studies and youth meetings are concerned, information will be continuously provided through this homepage.
